There are a large number of solutions providers in the Industrial IoT category and buyers struggle to find information on emerging and less recognize vendors. Even though the large industrial players can outspend startups in marketing, a major source of innovation is from young and aggressive newcomers. What to look for in an Industrial IoT Service Provider?
Before beginning your search for a vendor, start with the basics of gathering both business, functional non-functional requirements.
Because the IIoT category is relatively new, there is a mix of new and older vendors. In categories such as drone assisted repair, there are multiple emerging vendors and few existing options to choose from. Conversely, automated repair scheduling is an established discipline with large, well-known solution providers including GE and IFS World.
